Blueverde Studio took the helm in designing and laying out the new IUCN Annual Report 2023, transforming complex data into visually engaging narratives. The studio integrated detailed graphs, insightful infographics, and precise maps, creating a seamless flow of information that captivates and informs. Each element was meticulously crafted to highlight IUCN’s significant achievements and ongoing initiatives.
Blueverde Studio's strategic design choices emphasized IUCN's commitment to overcoming biodiversity and climate challenges, highlighting the organization's democratic and inclusive mandate. Their work reinforced IUCN's pivotal role in guiding the world towards sustainable solutions for a thriving planet.
Blueverde Studio expertly designed and laid out the UMA Ecosystem Restoration Best Practices Catalogue for the Mediterranean, addressing the urgent need to identify and disseminate Nature-based solutions. This catalogue aims to provide transferable best practices to support broader ecosystem restoration efforts during the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration (UN/FAO).
The layout is intuitive and easy to navigate, featuring site location maps, evocative artwork of the Mediterranean landscape, and informative infographics. These elements collectively enhance the user experience, making it easier for stakeholders to access and apply the valuable insights within the catalogue. Through their thoughtful design approach, Blueverde Studio effectively supports the spread of innovative restoration practices crucial for the region's environmental sustainability.
Blueverde has worked closely with the ETC-UMA team in the development of several scientific reports and informative infographics, a factsheets catalogue and a web portal.
Our latest role was to create the design and layout of the report “Carbon pools and sequestration potential of wetlands in the European Union“ which findings argue that European wetlands have an enormous capacity to contribute to carbon neutrality objectives in Europe. We also developed four infographics that visually explains the ecological role and social benefits associated with different types of wetlands.
In line with Blueverdes corporate mission, our team feels very proud to be contributing to the goal of making wetland conservation and restoration a high priority for the EU in reaching climate neutrality by 2050.
